Doug Moffet is a Yamaha and D'Addario artist raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He studied at the Interlochen Arts Academy, University of Miami, and also studied with Fred Hemke (Chicago Symphony).
Living in Nashville, TN the past 38 years, Doug has enjoyed the experience of recording and playing live with hundreds of artists. His recording credits cover a wide variety of musical genres including Gospel, Blues, R&B, Country, Rock, and Jazz. A great many of these recordings have been both Grammy nominated and Grammy winners.
Some of his recording highlights include Paul McCartney, Larry Carlton, Tony Bennett, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Buddy Guy, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Take Six, Cee Cee Winnans, Amy Grant, Johnny Lang, Bobby Blue Bland, Little Milton, Robert Randolph, Michael Omartian, Michael McDonald, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Edwin McCain, Lou Rawls, Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar, Leroy Parnell, The Mavericks, and Willie Nelson.
